Mint Latte

Dress: F21 (similar here)
Shoes: Steve Madden (similar here)
Bag: Anthropologie (great options herehere and here)
Hat: Asos (similar here)
Bracelets: J Crew, Nordstrom, F21(similar herehere and here)

Polka dot on polka dot print is a great look, you can make this trend work by contrasting the palette or the actual size of the polka dots. I had been looking for a polka dot bag and after searching high and low I discovered this one at Anthro its small and sweet.

I love these layering bracelets, the colors are so soft, right now you can find friendship bracelets just about anywhere. Speaking of layering bracelets, there is a great giveaway going on right now from one of my favorite blogs  - Pink Peonies, the must have Stella and Dot - Renegade Cluster Bracelet is up for grabs, entry rules here.

Warm Fall

Blazer: Zara (love this one)
Bag: Michael Kors (similar here)
Shoes: Steve Madden (similar here)
Sunnies: YSL (no longer available, similar here)

Though it is officially fall, SoCal continues to be extremely hot and we expected to get worse! This layered ensemble is weather appropriate, both the blazer and dress are cotton and very lightweight. Though I am happy to have a good tan, I'm ready for the sun to go on vacay.

Skirt: ASOS (similar here and here)
Denim shirt: H&M recent (similar here)
Shoes: Steve Madden (similar here and here)
Metal Bag: Zara (similar here)
Sunnies: Giorgio Armani (similar here)

This skirt is so fabulous; the unique palette and abstract print make feel like I am wearing a piece of art. The cut absolute perfection! Its high waisted and flowy therefore feminine and comfortable. I am a girly girl so the bows on these shoes immediately got my attention.

Blue Suede Shoes

Dress: H&M
Shoes: Michael Kors (old, but love these)
Bag: Jesslyn Blake
Brass Cuff: Asos (no longer available, similar here)

Blue suede shoes are not usually at the top of everyones wish list but they ought to be; they are so unique and fun! When I found these Michael Kors a while back and I could not resist; they are extremely comfortable and the shade of blue is just perfect... they could pass for light denim.

Simple But Pretty

Silk Cami: Vintage (Similar here)
Shoes: Fornarina
Bag: Michael Kors (old, similar here)
Necklace: Anthropologie (old, similar here and here)
Bracelets: J Crew and Nordstrom (similar here and here)

This silk cami is so soft and comfy, I love the color palette with subtle hints of lavender, olive and  mustard which makes the accessorizing possibilities endless. This top is a great versatile piece perfect for days (like today) where I am running short on time; I can just slip into a pair of jeans and still feel pretty and put together, I just let the cami work its magic.

Cool Stripes

Top: Gap (old, similar here)
Shorts: F21 (no longer available, similar here in bordeaux)
Shoes: Steve Madden (old, but similar here)
Clutch: Asos (old, but love this one)
Sunnies: Marc by Marc Jacobs (no longer available, similar here)

Braving the extreme hot weather has been a challenge even though its mid September! The hope is that sooner rather than later the fall temperature will kick in and I'll be able to layer. As I've mentioned before I love red and this fall trend is all about bordeaux, I can't wait to mix and match.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Wonder Woman

Bangles: Kora via Anthropologie (similar herehere, great deal here)
Dress: F21 (old, but similar here)
Shoes: Steve Madden (no longer available, but similar here)
Bag: Jesslyn Blake (old, but similar here)

Wearing these brass cuffs definitely make me feel like Wonder Woman, more so after doing a bit of research on KORA; I realized that by wearing them I'm contributing in a small way to making a difference. This company is amazing not just for the high quality, very fashion forward products they market, but for the mission they've taken on of sustaining business development in Africa. All of their jewelry has a tribal feel to it and features locally sourced materials from Kenya and Ghana. It's definitely worthwhile taking a peek at their website.
